Family Photos- Mom and Dad and Me
Here is me and my folks posing for one of those graduation photos. This was my high school graduation back in '90. My parents are pretty cool. My Dad is a lot of fun. He listens to cool music (even wanted to dub my LA Style CD), will go to an occasional concert, works out, and kicks my butt in tennis. He got a job working for PNC Bank in Pittsburgh in Dec. of '95.
My mom followed him after selling the house in April of '96. In Feb of 2000, my parents announced they were divorcing; and Mom moved down to Dallas. She is an incredible person as well. She loves to do stained glass and is very talented at it, and she's excellent at picking out stuffed animals to give to me. She did an excellent job raising me and my brother and I only hope that I can be as good as a mother as she was to us. After all, my brother and I turned out pretty darn good, if I do say so myself! :-D
My parents met on a Friday the 13th in the late 60's. COOL. They married when they were both 21. My mom worked very hard to help put my Dad through college. He was going for his PHD, but stopped one semester short, due to a change of heart and gut instinct (good call, Dad). They had me at age 26 while my Dad was attending the University of Tennessee. My Dad is full of humor and he doesn't get mad often. My Mom is silly, and her favorite vacations involve the ocean and a beach! Even though they are now divorced, I have the best parents in the world!
