Friends Photos- Take me out to the Ballgame!
This is Nick, my ex-fiance, (left) and his brother Richie (right). They played on the MSBL (Men's Senior Baseball League) of Dallas. Their team was the Orioles, and they had an excellent season in 96. Nick plays Centerfield and Richie plays Short Stop. Both are excellent hitters. I really enjoyed watching their games (they played twice a week), especially when Nick's Mom and Dad were there, because they rooted really hard and loud, too.
One thing I don't understand how Nick and Richie can do, even to this day, is stand in that outfield for up to 30 minutes at a time in the blazing sun with those uniforms on. I mean, you must have some idea how hot Texas gets, and when they have 1:00 games, man, it's usually over 100 degrees! But they don't seem too mind much. I guess when you love a sport, nothing can keep you away, not even the heat.
