Friends Photos- Karsten
Meet Karsten. I met him on the Internet back in early 1995 and we became great penpals. He lives in Berlin, Germany (and was born and raised there). Sometime in '95 he came to the States on Vacation and he decided to drop by Milwaukee and visit me! Throughout the years, he's been a great penpal-- giving me advice, listening, asking for advice and just being a good friend. He also made the generous offer to have me come out for a visit to Germany, so Stacey and I just had to take him up on that! So in May of 2000, we packed our bags and headed Eastward! Read about that vacation here! We had such a great time. He was an amazing host, taking 10 days off of work to show us all around Europe, even to places he had been to before. It was great to get to know him better; and now that I do, I hope he's prepared to have a silly American friend pestering him to visit Dallas!
Karsten is laid back, generous, knows English better than I, has a great sense of humor, and has an amazing dedication to his family and friends. I am very lucky to have met him.
