Friends Photos- Hva Heter Det?
This is my good friend, Håkon, and I at Six Flags Great America in July of '96. Håkon is my email penpal from Norway that I had had since probably June of '95. He was planning a trip to the States, and I had to be sure meeting me was included in those plans, I even told him we'd go to the roller coaster park if he met me in Milwaukee!It was really great to meet him, he was exactly how I knew he'd be from his emails, sweet, handsome and halarious! He speaks excellent English, yet it was still fun to see him learning new things about being in the States, and teaching him some slang words and phrases he'd never heard before.
We had a great time in Milwaukee, and I can't wait til I can afford to go to Norway and see him again.
By the way, in this picture, I'm holding a small frog I won while playing Frog Bog. Aren't the three of us cute?? *heehee*
