Occassion Photos- July 4th Weekend 2002
We packed in as many things as possible, and there honestly never was a dull moment!
The first day Jon and Theresa arrived, we went shopping at Grapevine Mills Mall,
then we drove up to Highland Village to show them our new plot of land. We then
decided to head down to the Brazos River that night so that we could wake up and
spend the whole day on the River. That night when we got there, not much sleeping
was to be done right away, though, as we spent a couple hours lighting off firecrackers
and keeping the whole area awake. When we finally did crash in Mark and Lisa's trailer,
we woke up the next morning, had breakfast, then went out on David's boat. After a
while, we decided to ski and switched to Alysee and Brad's boat which is better suited
for skiing behind.

Alysee was there and was kind enough to let us ski behind her boat! She attempted
to instruct us well (well all except David who's a pro).

Back to the Ponderosa for some lunch! David cooked us some chicken and burgers.

Later on that night, Jon, Theresa and I went to visit Mom. We hung out and
played pictionary and talked. Here is myself and Jon posin' for a pic at Mom's.

The next day we went back over to Mom's to swim in her apartment complex's pool!

We decided to stop at Fun Fest for a little while and play some video games.
We then went to the IMAX theatre and saw a Space Station 3D movie.
Later that night, Jon, Theresa, David and I decided to go out and enjoy a bit
of the Dallas nightlife and go dancing and Karaoke-ing.

The next day the 4 of us went to play mini-golf. Here's David and I and some zebras.

After a competitive round of golf and some time at the batting cages, we were starved!
Off to let Theresa and Jon sample some amazing tex-mex food at Mi Cocina! Eric joined us.
They loved it!
After lunch, we headed back to Mom's to help her hang up some pictures and to put
up her Cat's Meow Houses. David is very handy and did a great job on his part!
The weekend was too short and the next day Jon and Theresa headed home. I'm already
looking forward to their next visit this Christmas! Hip Hip Hooray!
