Trip Photos- Angel Fire, MN- January 2002
David's friend, Charlie, owns a condo just a hundred yards (if that)
away from the Angel Fire ski resort. He was nice enough to let us use
it for free even though he couldn't go the weekend we went. Because the
condo has two bedrooms, we invited Wes and Heather along with us.
We all had a blast spending a long weekend in beautiful Angel Fire, NM.
It was Heather's first time skiing and she caught on very quickly. It was
my second time skiing (check out
my Tahoe pics); and Wes and David
are somewhat experienced.
Here are some pics from the trip:

Welcome to Angel Fire!!

Here's a picture of Charlie's condo complex.

Here we all are in the condo, about to go skiing!

The sun, barely breaking through the clouds.

David, with the main ski resort behind him.

That little black dot in the middle of the
picture is David, skiing down the hill.

David is a great skiier! He never fell once... figures.

Here's Heather one afternoon when we took a break to eat some lunch.

Heather, myself and David.

For Heather's first time skiing, she did remarkably well!

David and I, relaxing on the couch after a long, fun day of skiing.

Myself and David, at the bottom of the hill, in front of the resort.

Myself in front of the resort. Thumbs up!

David and I at the top of the hill. Such a great view!

Myself at the top, about ready to go down a Blue.
I'm pretty good at skiing the blue trails now!

Here's me, skiing!

Wes and Heather, at the top of one many great peaks of Angel Fire.

Heather and Wes having dinner at Zebadiah's Saturday night.

Myself and David, also enjoying dinner.

On Sunday morning, David and I decided to take a drive up the mountain.

The snowy road up the mountain. Good thing we drove David's 4 wheel drive truck!

Beautiful scenery abounds in Angel Fire.

A half frozen river.

After skiing until mid-afternoon on Sunday, David and I headed out.
Here's some of the gorgeous view we had while heading to lower elevations.

Another magestic cliff.

And yet another.

Goodbye to the mountains, here come the plains of New Mexico and Texas.

I thought this cloud was so wispy and beautiful.

The same cloud, hours later, looked magnificent as the sun set.
We had such a great time skiing. I love it so much! I can't wait to go again!
