Chris (my ex-boyfriend) and I met my friend Kris up near North Ridge Mall at TGIFriday's for lunch Friday afternoon. It was so great to see her again. I swear this girl never changes. She's still as friendly, compassionate and caring as ever!

After regretfully saying goodbye to Kris, Chris and I went on to visit my friend Pam. She just had her second child about a month before this photo was taken. Ironically, her second son (Jacob) was born on the same day of the year as her first son (Joshua).... exactly two years apart. Isn't Jacob precious?

Here's me with Josh and little Jacob.

Next, we were on to MaMa Mia's Pizzaria for dinner! My good friend Debbie was waiting for us when we arrived. Here we are together at last!

Yup, the gang's almost all here! Check us out: (from left to right:) Pam, Cretia, Jon, Dave, Chris, Me and Debbie. Zach, Mike and Myleene were also there, but are missing from this photo.

Ah ha! Here are Mike and Myleene! Mike used to be my roomate when I lived back in WI, and this is his fiance, Myleene. It was my first time meeting her and she was very very sweet. After MaMia's, the three of us and Chris went to go see "Never Been Kissed." We gave it a thumbs up.

And here's Zach... and of course, his beautiful mother, Cretia!

Saturday afternoon we had a cookout and here's Dave doin' some relaxing before firing up the grill. By the way, he is very handy with that grill.

ZACH! EEEE! He's Comin' Right For Me! (South Park joke, sorry). Every visit this kid gets cuter and cuter! I'm still devising my plan to smuggle him down to Dallas with me. Don't tell. Shhhhh...

Jon's girlfriend, Theresa, was able to make it down for the cookout as well. Here they are vegging on Cretia and Dave's couch.

Here's the two monkeys giving Moray a hard time! I love you Moray! EEEEE! (p.s. He doesn't bite, don't let them fool you!)

Debbie and George also made it to the cookout, here they are showin' a little lovin'.

My old roommate, Rob, even made it to the party! It was great to see him again! Here's Rob and my bro hangin' out on the couch.

This is Cretia's sister, Roxanne. She's takin' a breather away from all the excitement goin on in the living room.

After the cookout and everyone had their fill, we decided to drive on over to a friend of Dave's house who was having a bonfire! FIRE FIRE FIRE! We doused ourselves with Bug Spray and George and Jon posed for me.

After being nearly scalded by the bonfire (just kidding), we all got a good night's sleep and got up nice and early to meet out at the Park and Ride to go to Six Flags Great America! If you haven't already, you might like to check out the photos from the Six Flags '96 Trip. From left to right: Rob, Chris, Theresa, Roxanne, Jon, Dave, Cretia and Dan. Not pictured: Heather and myself.

Here's another shot with me in it this time. Still missing Heather, though, as she was running a little late.

Alrighty, after some troubles getting into the park, we all made it in for half price and immediately went to the line for the Shockwave. Here we are, all excited to get on our first roller coaster of the day!

We survived the Shockwave and many other coasters as well. At about 2:45 we decided to wait in line for the Eagle, the best wooden rollercoaster EVER!

Jon and I sat next to each other on the Eagle and even though you're not SUPPOSED to take cameras on, I managed to snap this picture of him just before the first huge drop!

Believe it or not, after our joyride on the Eagle, we were famished, so we headed off to the Crazy Buffalo Saloon for some grub. I tried my first Buffalo (Bison) burger and it was YUMMY! Anyway, during lunch I was bad so I got put in jail. See how strong I am? I'm literally bending those metal bars!

Chris also had a Buffalo burger and turned insane for a bit, so we had to put him in jail for our own safety! AHHH! Buffalo burgers give super strength!

Here's the gang getting ready to go on the best roller coaster in the entire world. We didn't know that at the time, cuz it was our first time on it -- it'd just been built. It's called RAGING BULL and WOWWY! It ROCKS! Smoothest, fastest, most comfortable coaster I've ever been on! And better yet, it's longer than 2 minutes! I highly recommend Raging Bull to any roller coaster enthusiast out there! I hope they build one soon here in Texas!

Another new ride for me! The GIANT DROP! Oh man! See those things way at the tippy top? Those are people! And see those little sticks hanging out? Those are their legs! Oh man, this ride is even better than the G-Force (now called Wildcatter) at Six Flags over Texas!

Yup, I actually did get on the Giant Drop. Here's a shot I snuck right before they dropped us into a 200 foot free fall. YEE HAAAA!

Well, the end of the day came much too quickly and it was time to meet everyone by the Carousel. Chris and I found Jon and Theresa sitting on a bench.

Jon volunteered to take a photo of Chris and I on the same bench.

The next day Chris and I met my friend Angie and her husband Shane at the Kopp's Restaurant near South Ridge Mall. They declined having their photo taken, but I snuck in this one of them in their car right before they had to leave. She might kill me when she sees this, heeheee.

After saying goodbye to Ang and Shane, I decided to drive Chris downtown and to the Lakefront. Here is a spot we stopped, near Bradford Beach. Chris said this was one of his favorite parts of the trip. He loved the cool, brisk, windy weather by the Lake (Lake Michigan). I thought it was freezing! Brrr! See the wind whipping through his hair?

Right after I got doused with a huge wave that came up over the edge of the pier, I took this photo of Chris. He's much braver than I. Any second a wave could douse him... but he lucked out.

Just to prove this is Milwaukee and not anywhere else, I took a shot of Chris with the Milwaukee Skyline behind him. Good thing he's patient with me. :-D

OK, how 'bout letting my camera take one of us together... that is... if we don't blow away first! <wush!>

OK, one more... I swear! Here is Chris posing for me on some of the large rocks that adorn the Lakefront area.

And the trip had to come to an end. 4 glorious days in Wisconsin visiting all my friends, I had such a great time! Here is a shot I took from the airplane on the way back to Dallas! Bye for now Wisconsin! I'll be back!
