Trip Photos- Las Vegas- September 2000

After getting in at about 9pm Friday night, checking in at the MGM Grand, we went and saw Robert Schimmel, a funny comedian. Then we stayed up quite late gambling and having fun. Sat. morning we all woke up and decided to fill our bellies with delicious food from the All-you-can-eat MGM Grand Buffet. Here we are in line.

The MGM had a really cool Lion Habitat set up temporarily. Here's a spectacular lion shaking something off his fur.

After seeing the lions and doing a bit of gambling, we decided to walk the strip. Here is Nick and Mike being goofy.

We walked down to Mirage and the white tigers were out for display. Gorgeous!

After leaving the Mirage, Nick and I decided to walk over to the Venitian, on the way, I saw this really cute duck.

Later that night we went to see Sigfreid and Roy. It was a great show!

After the show, we headed back towards the MGM, but stopped to pose for a picture.

As we walked past the Bellagio, the water fountain show began! How lucky!
It's spectacular and the water explodes along to music! Very impressive!

Sunday morning I was sure to get a photo from the view of our suites.

We even had a view of one of the MGM's 5 pools.

This is the Excalibur Hotel and Casino.

I took a photo of Nick and I being silly in the elevator. Our elevator companions were quite intregued.

After having lunch together, we all went to the sports gambling area and watched the end of the Lions game. Hey! Something proving I was in Las Vegas on my birthday!

After the Lions took a victory, we decided to head over to Mandalay Bay and see the Shark Reef. Here we are in the cab, note the Luxor on the far left, the Las Vegas Blvd. sign and Janice on the right. Cool shot!

Here are two really cute eels.

EEEEEEEEEE! It's a Moray Eel! I'm in love!

This shark was NOT in the same tank with the eels! Whew!

Well, after a fun-filled trip, we headed back for the airport. Here's Mike being attacked by a giant scorpion! Oh! The horror!

And this lizard bit my hand! OUCH! That'll leave a mark!
