FLIGHTS & RENTAL CARS

Anyone flying into DFW for our wedding can get a 10% discount on American Airlines if you book 30 or more days before your departure! Better than a kick in the teeth, eh? Just call 1-800-433-1790 and mention Authorization code A7293AH. You can also use your favorite travel agent, just be sure to give them the Authorization code to receive the discount. After purchasing your flight, you can also receive special discounted rates on Hertz Rental Cars.

Anyone flying into DFW for our wedding can also get a 10% discount on Midwest Express Airlines if you book 60 or more days before your departure! The Code (registered wedding number) you need is CMZ5850. Tickets can be purchased online at www.MidwestAirlines.com/weddings or at 800-452-2022. And similiar to American, after purchasing your flight, you will also receive special discounted rates on Hertz Rental Cars (mention CV#02R30003).

HOTELS

There are many great hotels in the Dallas area. Here are hotels that are a good balance between cost and ammenities:

Room rate through the hotel is $59/night. However, much better rates can be found for this hotel on Orbitz.com ($43/night).

Unknown Hotel: Hotwire.com
If you search in the "Dallas North - Galleria" and "DFW Intl Airport North - Grapevine" areas in DFW on Hotwire.com, you will find hotel rates as low as $27/night for a 2 star hotel. They even have a 3.5 star hotel for $28/night! WOW! You can choose the star rating and the amenities of the hotel, then after you purchase, the hotel name and location are revealed. Any hotels in these areas will be a good location, not far from my house, the airport, and the wedding location. I've used Hotwire.com before to purchase hotels and I think it's a GREAT bargain. I got a La Quinta hotel in Miami that would have been $60/night for $32/night. Awesome!

This is the hotel closest to my house, only a couple minute drive away. The rate is $155/week. I will call on nightly rates. This hotel may be good for you if you're coming for 4 nights because the room includes a kitchen with microwave, full-size refrigerator, two burner stove and a dining area.
