Our Ceremony will be he held not in a church, but at Paradise Cove at Lake Grapevine. We will be getting married by our Pastor, Jim O'Connell.
Pastor Jim is from Hope Reformed Church in Carrollton, TX. He is an amazing, ever-smiling, positive and compelling man. He has a contageous laugh, a great sense of humor, a wonderful family and an amazing singing voice.
I got the priveledge of meeting him because my mom and his wife, Phylis, work together at a local high school in Carrollton. Phylis has been a wonderful friend to my mom, and how appropriate that their church would be exactly what we were looking for... a nearby, comfortable, happy place to experience our spirituality.
David and I took premarital counseling classes with him. It was very enjoyable and definitely worth while.
