"An Ode To My Shoes"Oh woe to thee, oh shoes of mineThou keep my petty feet dry and safe and secure Thou art more important than anything for with out thee, my feet would be nothing. Oh shoes of denim, rubber and cloth how beloved thou comfortable body clothes thy foot and hugs thee tightly Thy dainty white stitches compliment thou so well And the slight flip flap that is a rejoice to my ears, will always come as I set each foot down. Oh shoes... thou art always there for thee And how thou decorates thy foot- with you- it would be cold and dull in its fleshy color You add life, color and comfort Thou shoes, I give thee thy highest regard. I live for thee, and will always praise thee. |
